This kit allows you to replicate Verdigris effects and textures on parts and miniatures. Suitable for modelling and crafts.
Verdigris is a semi-saturated blue/green patina that forms on copper surfaces or some of its alloys, such as bronze or brass.
1. Apply the special acrylic paint (AK11267) with a brush on the piece where you want the effect.
2. Once dry, apply the oxidizing agent (AK11268)* over the paint.
3. Let it sit for a while to observe the final effect, as oxidation occurs due to a natural reaction with the air.
*The oxidizing agent can be diluted with water to achieve more subtle results on your pieces. Verdigris is the bluish-green effect produced by the oxidation of bronze, copper, and their alloys. You can enhance the effect with other modelling products such as pigments, acrylic paints, enamel effects, etc.
